Rodriguez Bakery has been family owned and operated since 1955.
We were founded by Francisco "Pancho" Rodriguez, Sr. and
his wife - Maria del Carmen "Carmen". Our "Papi" started his baking
career in Eagle Pass, TX - where he opened his first panaderia/bakery.
In 1965 our family moved to the small farming town of
Nyssa, Oregon, where "Papi" opened Rodriguez Bakery
at its current location. He started as a one-man operation;
making the "Pan Dulce" (Mexican pastries) in the morning
and providing door-to-door house deliveries in the afternoon,
for the local community.
Word quickly spread about the "Pan Dulce" that "Papi" made:
its fine homemade quality and flavor was like no other.
Soon after, he acquired vans to spread his business
further into the Treasure Valley area - reaching from Weiser, Idaho all
the way to Nampa, Idaho.
Later in his career, he tapped into a new market by
packaging the "pan dulce" and delivering to
grocery stores - one of the
first to do so in this area.
Our "Papi" has passed on, but the hard
work and innovation still continues to this very day.
Rodriguez Bakery, Inc is now owned and operated by his
youngest son, Marco, wife Becky, and their children - Jarad,
Victoria and Francesca.
We have branched out and now have our fine "Pan Dulce" in many
of the grocery stores in the Treasure Valley
and Southern Idaho area. Our "Pan Dulce" can also
be found in Nevada and Utah and we continue to grow!!!
